Mr. Levinsohn is the Managing Principal of the New York City Regional Center (NYCRC). The NYCRC has become an important ingredient in New York City’s economic revitalization by helping to fund large-scale, public/private real estate projects that create much needed jobs in areas of high unemployment. In 2008, the NYCRC and Mr. Levinsohn were approved by the United States Citizenship Immigration Services (USCIS), a division of the Department of Homeland Security, to raise EB-5 funds for real estate funds throughout the City. Mr. Levinsohn noted that NYCRC projects include funding to assist with the redevelopment of the Brooklyn Navy Yard, New York City’s largest industrial park, as well as funding to assist with the expansion of Steiner Studios, the City’s leading film and television production facility.

Mr. Levinsohn received his undergraduate degree from Duke University. He received both a masters degree (M.A.) in Political Science from Duke University Graduate School and a law degree, Juris Doctorate (J.D.), from Duke University School of Law. While in law school, Mr. Levinsohn was a member of the school’s Law Review, the Duke Law Journal. Mr. Levinsohn served a term on the Duke University Board of Trustees.

Mr. Levinsohn resides in Manhattan with his family.

Mr. Paul Levinsohn explained that the NYCRC is deploying much needed capital to help fund projects in areas of high unemployment in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and the Bronx. “The beauty of EB-5 capital is that it is matching ready sources of capital to well-defined public/private projects that are creating jobs for New Yorkers,” noted Mr. Levinsohn. Levinsohn went on to say that “now more than ever, we have to find innovative ways to secure private investment and finance important infrastructure projects.” Levinsohn said that the NYCRC has raised funds from investors from 18 different countries.

Paul Levinsohn is the Managing Principal of the New York City Regional Center (NYCRC), which focuses on economic development initiatives in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, and the Bronx. The NYCRC has helped to fund large-scale public/private real estate projects which have created much needed jobs in areas of high unemployment throughout the city. The NYCRC was approved by USCIS on October 30, 2008 to secure foreign investment through the EB-5 program.

Paul Levinsohn received three degrees (BA, MA, and JD) from Duke University.
